For Schools

Kate has always been a wonderful educator, instructor, and guide. As a Montessori educator it is often difficult to find the right fit to engage the spirited child, but I was lucky enough to expose my classroom to Kate’s methods. I would highly recommend her!

Classroom Mindfulness

Mindfulness is paying attention in a particular way: on purpose, in the present moment, and non-judgmentally (Jon Kabat-Zinn).

It is taught through simple practices that foster awareness, compassion, and acceptance, and makes a "peaceful place" inside more accessible.

Classroom Mindfulness is a collaborative classroom enrichment service dedicated to bridging mindfulness with curriculum goals in order to meet the needs of your students. Instruction strategy is centered on enabling students and teachers to use mindfulness independently.

Focus Classroom

Have only one or two groups of students in your school, or want mindfulness specifically tailored to a couple of groups? “Focus Classroom” mindfulness curriculum involved movement and art projects around mindfulness practices.

Sessions last 45mins-1hr per classroom and are typically held weekly.

Multi-Classroom

Want to offer mindfulness practices to 4-8 classrooms through “mindfulness moments”? Multi-classroom mindfulness sessions teach students and teachers a variety of practices that can be used both at school and at home.

Sessions last 10-15mins per classroom and are typically held weekly or twice weekly.

All classroom mindfulness lessons are offered in 5 week modules. Some flexibility is possible to meet the needs of your school calendar. Modules themes are selected to the specific priorities of your school.

“Our preschool group thoroughly enjoyed Kate’s class. It was a great experience for them to go to the studio and learn about how they can work to calm their minds and bodies. The adults learned a few things too!”
